Job Description


Capable of running 15-20 projects at one time throughout the Austin Metro Area. The projects are mostly residential; typically ranging in size from $1,000 - $250,000 and the average job size is about $12,500. The majority of the repair labor is sub-contract. An established sub list that can handle these types of projects in our client’s homes is a plus.


Austin Hi-Tech is a preferred contractor for almost all major insurance carriers in the Austin Area. Customer Service and Satisfaction is of the highest importance. Applicant must be able to effectively communicate with his clients and maintain a good relationship with difficult homeowners. The ability to set and meet expectations is required. Residential Remodeling experience is preferred over new construction and/or commercial due to the homeowner communication and satisfaction component of this position. But an applicant with only new construction experience will be considered if he or she possesses the skill set to meet the above stated requirements.


Responsibilities


The Project Manager must be able to accurately forecast costs during the term of the project. Weekly budget analysis, approving/coding receipts and cost to complete reporting is required. The Project Manager must be able to control costs.


The Project Manager may be required to perform immediate after hour emergency response from time to time. This would be for structural assessment of damaged buildings and residences.
